Cérémonie au Temple Ceremony

Saturday August, 26th 2006- 11a.m.

We will be scealed for time and all eternity at 11am. Only close family and friends are invited to attend with us as the room can only accomodate 40 guests. If you have not received email invitation, we invite you to join us when we come out for some pictures at about 1200-noon.

Nous serons scellés pour le temps et toute l' éternité à 11h. Comme la salle ne peut acceuillir que 40 personnes, nous les réservons pour notre famille et amis les plus proches. Si vous n'avez pas reçu d'invitation par email, nous vous invitons à nous rejoindre à la sortie du temple pour des photos vers midi.

Photos & Lunch

After the ceremony, we will be taking family photos. Our family members are then invited to join us for a meal at a nearby restaurant. We are inviting as many of our friends as we can accomodate and apologize to everyone who won't be able to join us. We hope you'll understand that our budget dictates that any of our friends who do come will have to pay for their own meal. We've chosen a nice, but relatively inexpensive, restaurant so as many people can join us as possible. Please read the other posts for directions and additional details.

Nous nous marierons samedi 26 Aout 2006 à 11h dans le temple de Montréal, Québec. Suite à la cérémonie, nous prendrons des photos. Notre famille est ensuite à se joindre à nous pour un repas dans un restaurant des environs. Nous invitons autant d'amis qu'il nous est possible et nous nous excusons de ne pouvoir inviter tout le monde. Nous espérons que vous comprendrez notre modeste budget et vous invitons à vous joindre à nous en payant votre repas. Nous avons choisi un bon restaurant, à menu moyen pour que ceux qui veulent se joindre à nous puissent le faire. Veuillez lire le reste du blog pour d'autres détails et informations.

Invitation

We hope EVERYONE will join us at the reception. Everyone from the Ville-Marie Ward, the LaSalle Ward and all the congregations in Montreal are invited. All our friends from NY, out west, school, work and everywhere else are invited. We especially hope all our family will come. The evening will start at 7pm and go to about 10pm.

Reception program

We are planning on having a receiving line to welcome and thank all of our guests, but do have a short program that we will start around 8:15 including a ring exchange, toasts from our parents and our first dance as a married couple. We then invite you to join us on the dance floor!

Nous acceuillerons nos invités à 19h et commencerons un programme vers 20h15. Celui-ci incluera l'échange de nos alliances, les toasts des parents aux nouveaux mariés et notre première danse en tant qu'époux. Nous vous invitons à vous joindre à nos sur la piste de danse suite à celà!

Driving directions-En voiture

To get to the LaSalle chapel by car you're best bet is probably to take the highway. If the highway isn't the fastest, then you're probably staying with people who know how to get there anyway. Get on the 20 towards LaSalle. If you're near downtown, this road might be called the 720, and you'll want to take it west (spelled OUEST in french). Take the Angrignon exit, then left at the light at the end of the overpass. Drive a short distance and then take a slight right on Cordner, followed by a left on Senkus. Drive past the mall (called Carrefour Angrignon) and you should see the church straight ahead of you on Senkus, on the other side of Newman Boulevard. Go through the light at Newman and turn right into the parking lot entrance past the church. This trip takes about 15 minutes from downtown.

Le plus facile est de vous y rendre en voiture pas l'autoroute 20 Ouest- aussi appelée 720 Ouest si vous partez du centre ville Montréal. Prenez la sortie Angrignon et tournez a gauche aux feux, vous serez sur le boulevard Angrignon. Conduisez jusqu'a la rue Codner a droite, puis tournez a gauche sur la rue senkus. En conduisant sur la rue Senkus, vous verrez le centre commercial Angrignon sur votre gauche et la chapelle en face de vous, de l'autre cote du Boulevard Newman.

Le trajet est d'environ 15 minutes du centre ville.

METRO/BUS

Take the green line towards Angrignon (direction is designated on platforms by the name of the last stop in that direction, not by east/west, inbound/outbound, uptown/downtown). Get off at Angrignon and take the 106 bus . Get off after 3 stops. You'll see the chapel accross the street.

Prenez la ligne verte vers Angrignon. Descendez à Angrignon (terminus) et prenez la bus numéro 106. Vous descendrez au 3ième arrêt, au coin de la rue Senkus sur le Boulevard Angrignon. Vous verrez la chapelle de l'autre côté de la rue.
